Wedding Day

Chapter 1:

Karen Wexler stared at her image in the mirror. Her hair was swept up to the top of her head with a few srands free for style and pizzaz. She looked at her watch, 4:15 pm. in 15 minutes she would be walking down the asile to Marry the Man she loved, Joe Scanlon. She silently prayed that this marrage would last, unlike her marriage to Jagger. She did inform him of her pending wedding, warning him stay away from Port Charles and her. he had broke her heart and Joe had fixed it. What else was there to real love. Jagger had been a high school romance, Joe..well Joe was the real thing. Pure real love. There was a knock at the door.
Karen:''Who is it?''
A raspy and strained voice answered back.
Voice:''Karen? May i come in?''
Karen:''Who is it, I can't tell by the voice?''
Voice:''You'll know when you answer the door.''
Karen:''If thats you Joe you'll give us bad luck if we see eachother before the wedding.''
Voice:''It's not Joe.''

Joe Scanlon stood infront of the mirror, Soon he would be married to Karen. His dreams were coming true. Finnaly he thought. There was a knock at the door disturbing his train of thought.
Joe:''Who is it?''
Frank:'' It's me your older brother. Let me in.''
Joe walked over to the door and let Frank in.''
Joe:''What do you want Frank?''
Frank:''This came for you.'' Frank hands Joe an envelope. Joe opens it and reads it to him self.
Joe:''Oh no!''
Frank what?''
Joe:''Look.'' Joe handed the envelope to Frank. Frank read it.
Frank:'' Your in trouble, If Karen finds out your ex-girlfriend Sally is back and ready to stop the wedding your gonna be dead.''
Joe:''I know.''

Karen:''Please just tell me who you are.''
Voice:''Here this should tell you.'' An envelope is slipped through the door and the floor. Karen picks it up and opens it. Inside is a photot copy of a picture of Joe and another Woman in Las Vegas at a wedding Chaple.
Karen:''Who are you?''

Joe:''Frank there's more to this then you know.''
Frank:'' What do you mean Joe.''
Joe:''Well Sally and I went to Vegas for that weekend remember and then we broke up. See the thing is..well...we..we got married and never got divorced.''
Frank:''WHAT?!''

Chapter 2:

Frank is paceing around the room. He is not sure of what to do with his brother. His Brother who was about to marry Karen yet can't becasue he's already married to Sally.
Frank: (to himself)''God, Sally's got to be back. Yet how did she find out about the wedding? Oh no! Rose, of course. Sally and Rose always kept intouch after Rose and Joe broke up. Rose being the talkative person in the family must have told Sally about the appending wedding. Damn it Rose. What kind of a sister are you?''
Joe:''Frank what are you freaked about I mean I'm the one who's going to have to tell Karen we have to wait to get married because I'm already married.''
Frank:''Oh I was just wondering if you told our younger sister Rose about the Wedding.''
Joe:''Of course I told her. She is my sister.''
Frank:''Joe have you forgotten that Rose is the most talkative member of the Family and that she and Sally are friends.''
Joe:''DAMN! Thats how Sally found out. Is Rose here?''
Frank:''Nope Rose is in Ireland remember. She went over there to get info on that Book she's writting,''

Eve Lambert is walking down the hall with her step-daughter Serena. They were on there way to see Karen. Serena started to run towards her sisters dressing room.
Eve:''Serena slow down, I can't run in heels, I'm not Lucy.''
Serena slows down.
Serena:''Sorry Eve, I just really, really want to see Karen.''
Eve:''Thats okay kiddo.''
Serena and Eve are about 10 feet from Karens room. Eve see's the tall red haired woman. She is wearing a deep green dress with a Rose colored shawl.
Eve:''May I help you Miss?''
Woman:''Not at really, unless you could tell me where I could find Mr. Joe Scanlon.''
Eve:''The only Joe Scanlon I know is Dr. Joe SCanlon, he's marrying my step-daughter today.''
The woman looks down at Serena and her face strains trying to immagine the woman infront of her having a step-daughter old enough to get married.''
Serena:''Not me silly, My Big Sister Karen. She's a Doctor at General Hospital with Joe and Eve.'' as she say's Eve's name she looks up and smiles.
The woman begins to walk away and Eve and Serena dismiss here presence in there minds and knock on Karen's door.
Karen:''Who's there?''
Eve:''Karen It's me your mother open up.''
Karen opens the door. The look on her face tells you she is not amused.
Eve:''I was just kidding. What's wrong your suppose to be happy tonight. remember.''
Karen:''This.'' She hands eve the picture.
Eve:'' So it's Joe and some woman. Big deal this has got to be a few years old.'' Eve is about to put the picture down but stops herself and brings it closer to her face.
Eve:''Serena come over here honey.''
Serena rushes over.
Serena:''Yeah Eve.''
Eve:''Serena does that woman look familer?''
Serena studies the picture.
Serena:''That's the woman who thought I was gonna Marry Joe.''
Karen:''What?''
Eve takes Karens arm and directs her to the other side of the room.
Eve:''This woman in the picture was right outside your room.''
Karen:''Oh my god! She was the Voice.''

Chapter 3:

Eve is in the room with Karen and Serena. She stares at the picture.

Eve: "I'm going to go check on Joe and Frank. Serena stay here with Karen."

Eve opens the door and walks down the hall towards Joe's dressing room. She

then see's the woman with the red hair again.

Eve: "Sally?"

Sally turns around.

Sally: "Damn" She muttered to herself.

Eve:"Stop right where you are."

Sally:" Who are you?"

Eve:"I'm Dr. Eve Baldwin, Karen and Joe are good friends of mine. I'm

warning you just leave becasue you really, really don't want my husband to

come after you."

Sally:"Why would your husband care what I do to Karen and Joe?"

Eve:"Because my husband is Karen's father."

Sally:"So what, I'm Joe's wife."

Eve:"Yeah right."

Sally:"You want proof. Ask him who Sally St.John-Scanlon is."

Eve:"If that's what you want. That's what your gonna get."

Eve walks away and towards Joe's room.

Joe is now pacing in the room as someone knocks on his door.

Joe:"Who is it?"

Eve:"Your future Mother in-law."

Joe:"Cute Eve. Come on in."

Eve walks into the room.

Eve:"Joe by any chance have you ever been married before?"

Joe: nervously"No, why do you ask Eve?"

Eve:"Well I was just wondering becasue there was this woman outside Karen's

dressing room and she said she was Joe's wife Sally St.John-Scanlon."

Joe:"Does Karen know?"

Eve:"She saw the picture."

Joe walks over to the door.

Joe:Screaming" SALLY ST.JOHN get over here now."

Frank is in the hall way when a red haired woman come's running down the

hall. She run's right into him. Unawear that he is Frank.

Frank:"Watch where your going will you." His eye's widen when he see's who

it is.

Sally:"Okay I will. Stop looking at me like that."

Frank:"Sally, What the hell are you doing here?"

Sally:"I came here to stop my husband from marrying another woman."

Frnak:"Sally, Get out of here. You've already caused enough trouble."

Sally:"Not as much as you know. Karen's seen the picture's. She know's Joe

is married."

Frank:"You are so sick."

Sally:"Not as sick as you remember."

Sally place's her right hand on Franks face and pulls him towards her. She

then kisses him deeply and passionatly.

Chapter 4:

Frank pushed Sally away frm him. He was shocked at what she had done.

Frank:"Sally, what in the world is wrong with you?"

Sally:" Frank you know as well as i do that I alway's loved Joe. He's my

husband and I plan on keeping it that way."

Frank:"Joe is going to marry Karen today no matter what you say or do."

Karen and Serena are standing infront of the mirror. The door to the

Dressing room opens and Karen turns around.

Karen:"Jagger what in the world.."He kisses her before she could finsh

talking. She wraps her arms around him afraid to let go.

Karen:"Jagger why are you here?"

Jagger:"Karen, I never had an affair with Fran, I never asked for a

divorce, none of it. It was all Fran and my boss insisted that it was the

only wya i could keep you safe. See there was this guy Moreno doing some

drug trafficing in SF and well the thing is that he left SF and i quit the

force. Trying to find away to tell you I still love you."

Karen:"Jagger, I love you to." Karen and Jagger kiss again. The Joe comes

rushing into the room.

Joe:"Karen what are you doing. Weere going to get married in 5 minutes and

your kissing some other guy."

Karen:" I'm not gonna marry a married MAN. Joe your married to Sally and

I'm going back to Jagger. I never ever want to hear from you again."

Karen takes Jagger's hand and Pulls him out of the room.

As they are Walking through the halls of the Chruch Karen see's Frank

dragging Sally behind him.

Karen:"Frank let her have Joe. I'm going back with Jagger."

Frank stares at Karen as she and Joe walk away.

Karen and Jagger continue to walk and they see Eve and Scott.

Scott:"Jagger?"

Jagger:"Hi Mr.Baldwin, What's up?"

Scott:"I thought that Karen was going to marry Joe today."

Eve:muttering to herself, "Not with Sally around."

Scott:"What was that Eve?"

Eve:"I said not with Sally around. Joe's wife."

The anger explodes in Scott's eyes. He runs off to find Dr. Scanlon.

Somewhere in the basement a Dark figure is setting something up. As the

figure move's it's revielved to be Greg Cooper. He's back for more. Ready

to blow the church Sky high.

Greg:"Now i have my revenge. Now Joe, karen, and Frank will know the true

wrath of Greg Cooper."
